Phases II

Un rideau enduit de terre repose un fil tendu, traversant l’espace. Le bas du rideau effleure, traverse et cache l’image d’une tarentelle diffusée en boucle sur une télévision cathodique. L’image  est orientée vers le plafond. Je m’intéresse à la tension entre le familier et l’inconnu, le lumineux et la pénombre, la sérénité et l’inquiétude, la nostalgie et l’euphorie.
Je tente de mettre en relation deux écrans sur le monde. Celui qui voile et celui qui dévoile. Cette proposition crée alors un lieu, nous permettant de nous pencher sur une autre réalité. Le souvenir d’un moment passé, Le souvenir  devenant chimère.



A curtain coated into soil rests on a stretched wire, crossing the space. The curtain base touches, crosses and hides the image of a tarantella over a cathodic television. The image is oriented to the ceiling. I am interested in the tension between the familiar and the unknown, the bright and the dark, serenity and anxiety, nostalgia and euphoria. I try to connect two screens of the world. The one who sails and the one who unveils. This proposal creates a place, allowing us to look at another reality.
The memory of a past moment, the memory becoming a chimera.
